Went down to Fountain Valley again today for Glenn’s bday party which should’ve been a few weeks ago, but I was still in Hawaii at the time. So anyways, there I was stuck in traffic on the 605-S patiently coasting along with Sasaki Yuko’s songs playing, when the car ahead of me breaked hard, making me follow suit with screeching tires and the same for the guy behind me. Almost a chained accident, but thank goodness for new tires and new brakes. All I can say to that is: Thanx Dad. He got me the car, the tires, the brakes, and stuff. Oh and insurance.
After getting to Eric’s house at almost 2PM, we left to play some pool. Left to buy some snacks, drinks, and stopped by his house for cups. Semi-partied in my car and headed over to pick up Megumi. Silly Megumi doesn’t even have 2 controllers for her PS2 so I couldn’t challenge her to some Z.o.E. dueling.
Megumi gave me my Christmas present this time =) all nicely framed and stuff. Too bad she framed it upside down ^^ Oh well. It’s an awesome picture she drew for me and Eric. Mine’s got the yellow dragon of light on the bottom and Eric’s has the green dragon on the bottom. Needless to say there’s a special message in both. Thank you Megumi! Daisuki!
Quickly zoomed off for some more pool. This time with Megumi, so we played 3 rounds of Cut Throat ^^ fun fun fun.
Left soon after the 3rd round to pick out a present for Glenn. Ahh yes… sure to bring back memories many years from now. So Glenn, where’d your first adult magazine come from? ^^ Hope you like it, but don’t have *too* much fun with it >=)
Party at Osaka’s was cool. I guess it’s just fun being with my friends. Plenty of laughs just like old times. The hour or so we were there allowed me to completely forget all worries on my mind. Set aside everything and truly enjoy myself. Julia’s company was appreciated too =) Too bad Julia never comes to my site anymore.
Taking everyone home… how.. tedious I guess. My car may be cool to drive around, but putting 200 miles on it in a day is not the coolest thing to do. Hanging out at Julia’s house with Starbucks in hand… priceless.
All in all, a great day. Aside from the near collision, everything was almost perfect.
hey was this the nite we did the andes chocolate thing? hahaha
Oh yeah! I think it was! Good memory. I actually just copied this over from the old blog and didn’t read much of it. =p
